SPARK WALSALL - HBD, Part of the Henry Boot Group (Walsall Council, Homes England, WMCA, John F Hunt)
Commercial challenge
After delivering successful Public Consultation and Stakeholder Engagement during the Covid-19 pandemic for the major brownfield redevelopment known as Phoenix 10 Walsall, Gough were retained to provide ongoing communications services throughout subsequent site preparation and construction works.
Now rebranded as SPARK, the brownfield development is set to become as 21st century logistics and manufacturing hub providing 620,000 sqft of high-specification floor space.
Human approach
Gough has maintained local relationships and provides an ‘always there’ approach for the neighbours, the wider community and stakeholders across Walsall. By understanding the types of information required, when to supply it, and how to liaise sympathetically with those living and working near to the site, we have been able to foster good relation and a positive reaction to the site preparation works.
Results
Gough remains active in supporting the contractor on site and the client team in general, managing all aspects of neighbour liaison and communications, as well as stakeholder engagement and public affairs.
