Gough was appointed by Aviva to consult on 175,000 sqft general industrial & warehouse space adjacent the HS2 Depot in Washwood Heath, Birmingham.

Planning consent was required and included the need for local community and stakeholder engagement.

Human approach

Gough ensured all neighbours new about the proposals and were able to learn more and feedback comments online, as well as discuss the plans with the team if needed.

A lot of work is taking place in the area, and it was important that local people could share in the exciting changes, whilst having any concerns addressed by a responsive and understanding communications team, which is exactly what Gough provided.

Results

Gough helped the team engage locally and politically, and planning consent was achieved following an approval from Birmingham City Council.
